About Straps & Stow
We got tired of
guessing at sizing.
Straps & Stow started as one traveler's spreadsheet of airline carry-on limits, and turned into a shop that builds bags to the tightest one — plus everything else you carry, and a way to make it recognizably yours.

Built by travelers, for travelers
How We Started
It started with a gate agent and a tape measure. A carry-on that had cleared three flights got pulled on the fourth — "close enough" wasn't good enough, and the bag went in the hold anyway.
So we measured every major carrier's limit, took the tightest number, and built to that instead of the average. Every case we sell since has been checked against it before it ships — not just listed with a size that sounds right.
"We don't design bags first and check the sizing after. The size limit is the brief — everything else gets built around it."
Straps & Stow, Product Team
From there it made sense to stop treating luggage, everyday bags, and the small stuff — straps, nametags, trackers — as three separate errands. Straps & Stow is what happens when you build all of it around one traveler's actual bag.
What We Stand For
Four things we don't compromise on
Sizing You Can Trust
Checked against the tightest major-carrier limit, not an average — and listed in exact inches and centimeters.
Made To Be Yours
Nametags, straps, and charms aren't an upsell — they're how you find your bag on the belt in two seconds.
Built For Everyone
Commuters, students, parents traveling with kids, and people who fly for work — one shop, not three.
No Surprise Returns
If a bag doesn't clear your airline's sizer at the gate, send it back. That's on us, not you.
The Sizing Promise
Every carry-on, checked before it's listed
We keep a running sheet of size limits across major carriers and build to the smallest one on it. When limits change, our listings change first — not after someone's bag gets pulled at the gate.
Measured against the tightest limit
Not the industry average — the strictest carrier we track.
Listed in inches and centimeters
No guessing which unit your airline uses.
Backed by a no-questions return
Gate-checked anyway? Send it back for a full refund.
Who's Behind It
